People who had Hopkins winning shouldn't be allowed to judge a boxing match.

 

some rounds were actually close early on where i only gave dawson the rounds because he was being more aggressive.

People who think Dawson won should be barred.
It would be great because look at all the horrible robberies week in and week out.
It is the dumbed down level of scoring that has ruined boxing.

Dawson fought Hopkins fight. He was in such a deep hole there was no way he could have won.
no shock hopkins was outraged. Dawson looked like a club fighter for most of the fight.
No purpose on his punches. Hopkins was able to stuff him with lead rights and jabs and the drunk commentators completely ignored them.
Compubox needs an audit. Hopkins defense was bananas.

Dawson did just enough to win. Many of Dawson,s punches missed or were blocked. Hopkins just didn't throw enough. Hopkins did fight well backing up. Unfortunately it gives the perception that he was loosing by a wider margin.

 

Dawson won wide on the cards, because he won most of the rounds by a sufficient little bit; a lot were hard to score. Being busier won him the day.

How'd you score the fight? I thought a number of rounds were ugly and could've been taken by Hopkins had he been able to pin-point a few clean right hands, but he just wasn't active enough and allowed Dawson's greater activity and aggressiveness to get him the 10 on the scorecards.

Of course, a few rounds were very clear for Dawson. Hopkins was getting hit by a fair amount of straight lefts, jabs, and body punches.

All in all, I gave Dawson 9 rounds. It seemed like a fight that a younger and much sharper Hopkins could've clearly won.
