I've followed Paulies's career since he KO'D Simpkins in one of his first pro fights..The N'Dou fight will always be special to me, but damn, this is on par with that fight in terms of his defense...His footwork has improved drastically under new trainer, Eric Brown...

That was the best defense I've seen from Paulie in his career...He was slipping punches easily...He's more technically sound than Alexander...Devon might be stronger, but I belive Paulie is smarter and can outbox him at this point...

Devon wont take the fight in NY...I'll believe it when I see it based on his track record...

I would say so, his power seems to have improved, if ever so slightly... I still say he needs to stick to his game which is to box and move... great story.

Yes, Very impressed, I'll go out on the line and say I am the most impressed with Paulie I have ever been, He destroyed a talented, long reigning champ like he was a can, Excellent!

I just really don't want him to fight Judah. A fan of both, would rather they take their recent wins against different opponents.

I agree, for all his limitations(punching power/physical durability)....It's an amazing story--"feel good story"...It's been a wild ride for him...I wait to see the next chapter...

I want to see paulie fight a medium range opponent in Brooklyn, just to have at least one good defense, then, bring on the best 147 has to offer.

At 147lbs, you can see how athletic he really is. Carries the weight very well.

Something else which is important is that the weight has given him his legs back, he moves now; pivots which given his defensive tactics is vital. If you watch his last few fights at 140 he was almost totally stationairy.

We could have seen but Guerrero-Malignaggi on the may 5th undercard, but guerrero thought he was too good for paulie.

Totally agree, Paulie has been stationary for 2 years...He was at his best when he was a boxer-mover, and Paulie doesn't run on a bike...He did the smart thing by going to the body against the bigger-stronger man early--made Senchenko lower his guard...

:good Huge difference between how he fought Cotto and then Hatton and Khan. Even when he beat Diaz, he stood right infront of him and relied on pushing off with his sholder.

I noticed that. At 147 Paulie digs to the body very well. Vital I suppose, brings him up to a more even playing field. I'd like to see him fight Guererro next, not Alexander.

It's pretty clear he will be the resurgent underdog the rest of his career...

Who's more technically sound? There's a big misconception about Paulie fights...Everybody thinks you can run trough him if you're a pressure fighter/boxer-puncher...Alexander is more technically flawed and likes to brawl, untill he screams and clinches like a woman...Paulie most def. knows how to pick his spots compared to Devon...

Alexander is not technically sound? Stronger, faster?
