    People like to moan and groan about 'bought' refs and judges and ignore the fact that in title fights the sanctioning body pics them. I could see Paulie wanting Smoger. He wouldn't quit against Hatton.

    Cause he's a Guido, and he always goes the distance. And him being blinded by his own dreads against NDou was Spinal Tap. But you're right, he is uncommonly tough and brave, and a really good boxer. If he had any power he'd be awesome.

    so ironic the fight was stopped by a referee who let fighters fight on and the one scoring the stoppage is a fighter with not much power. really had all the makings for a fight going the distance. but he had to score a ko if he was going to win in europe.
