I know he KO'd him in the first round, but Tyson didn't look too good in that fight. This had to be post-Rooney right?

Yes, it's scored on points based on connections.

Tyson connected more and scored more points in the 1st in addition to scoring the kd. Tillman scored more in the next two, and thus overall in the match. Dig? :good

    Yeap. :good

But next time when you are explaining someone how the scoring works, it’s probably wise mention something about points, instead of talking nonsense about who won what round.

IF tyson made it to the Olympics, would he have pass doping tests? Have you ever heard anything about him using PED? I'm just asking... I know nothing about this to either direction.

In 1984 the modern points system wasnt used, it was more like the pros where the judges award the fight based on who they think deserved to win, there were 5 judges, so whoever was awarded the fight by the majority of the judges wins.
Fights would be scored 3-2 for example where 3 judges went for boxer A and 2 for boxer B so boxer a wins by split decision.
