Is it just me or does all of his opponents on 24/7 always seem to train way harder than him and spar a lot more?

Also his training method, is not very healthy. Yes he is gifted, a natural, and blessed with great instincts but he is shortening his career with his crazy sleep schedules, Junk food eating ways. And on 24/7 he is disregarding eye doctors orders....

I think if he is going to fight 5 more times he needs to buckle down and go out the best way possible if he wants to finish undefeated. There is not many more opponents out there for him and Martinez, Pac, and Canelo should not be taking lightly.

I saw it as him being dedicated to the craft to go train even after his eye doctor appointment. Cotto is as interesting as a pile of dirl so of course they are going to fill the time with Floyd's lavish behavior. Did you watch his open media workout. Work inside the ring was 20-30 minutes straight. Work on the bag was over 20 minutes straight. A lazy ass person isn't able to do that.

Are you serious? The guy does 3 a days. What other fighter is doing 3 a days? As far as the sparring, he's known to spar up to the day before the weigh in. He goes to bed late, but he gets up late as well. He seems to have a ton of energy, so it doesn't look like it's effecting him. His body seems to be able to handle his diet as well(although I doubt he eats a lot of junk food). I'm not sure you why you brought up the eye doctor. When you get your eyes checked like that, your vision is a bit distorted for an hour or so, but that's about it. Hitting the heavy bag or speed bag won't effect him.

He probably sleeps a lot during the days.

Most fighters do sleep a lot, look at David Haye. I think it keeps their bodies replenished.

As long as he's not doing any drugs, he should be fine. Excessively bad eating habits could eventually harm him as well.

I also have a hard time believing that Floyd trains harder than ANY athlete (his words, not min. Total bull**** btw).

That pitter patter workout and a couple of runs a day isn't really pushing yourself to the limit, is it?

He trains five hours a day. How much of that can realistically be crammed into a four-part, weekly 30 minute broadcast that he's splitting time on?

What about ALL the people who says they've never seen anyone training that hard when they visit him in camp?

Even Andre Ward who is undoubtedly a massive workhorse, has tweeted numerous times about Floyd being an animal in training.

Floyd is putting what he wants in front of the cameras. Don't be fooled.

He's training his ass off and not taking Cotto lightly, you can bet on it.

These rules set by the average people doesnt mean they work. Floyd Mayweather trains the way he wants to train. He goes for hours because he goes by how tired his body is feeling rather than by time itself. Ali once said that you dont do situps for a set amount of sets, you do it until it hurts. He also dedicates himself to the sport so everyday he is doing what is good, so a little bit of bad (junk food, soda) wouldn't do much toward his demise. Also don't believe Mayweather's 24/7 character, It's just mental games that he's playing for cotto.
