Too early to tell. A win over Ward and Pascal would do wonders for his chances though.

Dawson isn't HOF worthy yet... to suggest so is ridiculous. He beat a 47 year old Hopkins... he's a one weight division champion and he didn't unify the titles at 175. If he can clear out the division at 175 and reign supreme for a number of years like Hopkins did at middleweight than we can start talking HOF. If he moves up to crusierweight and wins a title than you can talk HOF... but as of right now he isn't qualified.

That still is not enough. Man nowadays it doesn't take much to get people to say a guy deserves hall of fame. He has to beat Ward. Pascal is not great so what does that matter. He has to win Ward's belt and move up to cruiserweight and win that belt and then more.

no way. he's got a long way to go but he's well on the way. beat the elite at smw and avenge that loss to pascal, along with a lengthy reign in either division, preferably smw where there's more talent, and he's got a very, very good shot.

Dawson still has time... If he beats Ward at 168 it would Shoot him closer to his goal!

I am not sure people know what Hall of Fame means. It isn't just proving you are a very good fighter, it is the best of the best in boxing history. And one fight does not get a guy in there. A whole career does.

Guy probably has around 5 more good years of boxing.

Let his career unfold. Thus far it has been unfullfilling, but it took a change for the better this past weekend. I hope to see him in some big fights later on this year and early next year.

I'm really disturbed by the suggestion that Dawson's career has been "unfullfilling" or somehow "disappointing". This dude has beat Adamek, Johnson twice, Tarver twice, Hopkins, etc. He's lost only one fight via technical decision and hasn't gone out of his way to duck anyone, not sure what all the bitching is about.
