Yeah, Chazz caught him with two beautiful right hands on the button. His legs were wobbly as hell but he kept his composure and was clearly looking to tie up and recover.
Seth is intriguing in much the same way as Sonny Bill Williams. Both have extensive backgrounds in violent sports so they're much tougher(mentally and physically) and more athletic than other HWs with the same experience. I'd love to see him fight Arreola next but realistically he'll end up fighting the Mollo/Lawrence winner or someone like Boswell. Boswell and Lawrence would be good tests for him IMO.

Not sure about Boytsov, i agree that he's definately better than Witherspoon, i just find it hard to get behind someone who has not faced the kind of compitition he should have by now. Its up in the air to what is Boytsov's true level, i hope we find out soon.

Boytsov is a boxer -- Mitchell is a football player who throws punches.

Boytsov would knock his head off.

 

Boytsov who just turned 26 is three years younger than Seth Mitchell, so he's not in any great rush.

 

Mitchell is bigger & stronger, he would grind down Boytsov with a savage body barrage, then KO him in rounds 6-7.

 

Easy KO win for Boytsov.

 

Boytsov already looked past-prime against Guinn.

8 years as a pro is quite a long time for his style.

 

Clearly, you haven't seen many of Boytsov's fights.

The problem with fighting bums is that you can develop bad habits, like no defensive movement. However, Boytsov has shown quite decent (not great) defense, including backwards (alas not sideways) head movement, in many of his tougher fights.

He's also a phenomenal counter-puncher (again, if you watch enough of his fights) which would be Mitchell's downfall, as his only style is to bulldoze his way in. Also, Mitchell blocks punches with his head, he's the perfect victim for Boytsov, who has 1-punch KO power in both hands.

This fight wouldn't even be close. Boytsov KO in 1-3 rounds.
