Would anyone be that stupid ? after that display Hopkins would be lucky to get a tent fight ,he done v Dawson exactly what he did v Calzaghe and that was to foul his way out of a hiding , some call it him being a cunning old veteran but i call it RUNNING ( at one point i thought he was going to do a Cintron and dive out of the ****ing ring ) Hopkins has stunk the joint out since his middleweight career except from when he fought a pissed up kelly Pavlik , True story .

Tarver was just coming back down from heavyweight after filming Rocky 87 and Pascal fought as dumb as Hopkins hoped he would . Hopkins gotta be the most boring so called legend of the last decade mate . i wouldn't pay a penny if the fella was fighting on my front lawn to watch .
Bhop comes to life when he fights guys like Pascal, Pavlik, DANNY GREEN who just aren't very skilled. Green is very easy work for Bhop.
i agree with this, numerous media outlets have turned on green lately and question every one of his last few fights, this would be a field day for them, and only the staunch boxing fan would know that bhop is legit.
I agree with your prediction ref Green but that wasn't my point , my point being was Hopkins has had the majority of fight fans fooled since he fought at middle and has constantly ducked , head butted, and faked injury when things got tough and yet still people are still sucking on his knob . ok the guy is still in there at what 47 years old ? but as a boxer he is **** these days because his reflexes won't allow him to fight like he used to .
i wouldnt bother, dawson won clearly but his workrate was pretty shithouse, and bhop just tried to spoil and get a dq pretty much
If you mea effective in not getting hurt and to the end bells by any means possible then i agree he is effective .

I hear what your saying Josey, he's not very fan friendly to watch, but lets not forget that Hopkins is 47yrs old............... the majority of great fighters are washed up once they hit 35...... BHOP was 35yrs old 12yrs ago :shock: . His performance against Felix in 2001 was sensational
I agree Kel like i said earlier i can't fault the bloke for his reign at Middle ( Very Impressive he beat em all IBHOF for sure ) but this 175lbs **** has just been that ..**** ... i got no love for Borenard post Middle ,regardless of age mate .
