    I'd fancy him against pretty much everyone other than Trout at 154 at the moment.

    You'd favour Maciel over Mayweather, Cotto, Alvarez, Lara and Molina?

    Yeah, I don't think so. He's rather in the Kirkland, Margarito and Cintron tier.

    Certainly against Cotto (who'd look silly chasing shadows) and Alvarez (horribly over-rated) , I don't count Mayweather as a 154lb'der as I don;t think he'll be there for more than a fight. Lara v Maciel I'd say was evens and I'd favour him slightly over Molina.
