There's a reason the smaller fighters haves fewer pounds between weight classes; the weight matters more. The difference between a heavyweight weighing 200 and 220 is about the same in percentage of bodyweight as the difference between lightweight and welterweight or middleweight and light heavyweight. And Rahman is not as skilled as Virgil hill. And it still doesn't matter.

i don't think it's so cut and dry personally tbh. we have weight classes for a reason and the difference between fitz and rahman is MASSIVE and he'd be a TINY light heavy today compared to a very large and solid heavy. it's drastic and can certainly compensate for a big difference in skill

 

You misunderstood me. It's not 20 lb. Fitz has to deal with. It's 60. Rahman might not be as skilled as.Virgil Hill but he's not a complete bum. Hell he's bigger and stronger than Jeffries was. Ruby Robert is the much better.fighter but this is too much for him.

 

Leo Johnson , after d automatic "who?" thought i browsed through his record and found only wins over no1s , if i missed any1 , then he's a 1 hit wonder , but currently i didn't find that 1 hit of his . also seems like he was post d majority of his unimpressive career by d time he fought Leonard , pity (4 him) that there wasn't a WBA back then . Eddie Dorsey's record is even worse , they were less tested than Amir Khan is currently .

edit : regarding Johnson maybe his record was so void because no1 wanted 2 fight him , but it is still possible that he was damaged goods by d time he fought Leonard .
