Will Sergio Martinez go up to 168 or a catch weight in between to face Kelly Pavlik?

Didn't Miranda go up in weight against Abraham 3 fights later and lost via K.O in round 4!!? So what does weight prove? And how the heck was Taylor drained for their first fight? He was fighting tons of fights at 160 before the Pavlik fight!

Go look at the records instead of spewing BS!

    answer this... sure.

I am not bitter he lost! Sergio is a talent for sure. The "weight drain" Was because Kelly was in rehab the last 2 weeks of training camp and had to drop 17 lbs the week of the fight!

Meaning he was no where near 100%. yet he won 4 rounds and scored a KD.

What I dont understand is EVERYBODY now thinks Sergio is This ****ing boxing god and is p4p??? He beat the **** out of a 50% Kelly Pavlik, not a Fully prepared one! And it was his right to refuse the rematch at 164 lbs because it wasnt contracted!

Give Pavlik his due.. He is not a shitty Bum fighter. Sergio Just caught him on the one night he could defeat kelly. And if they do it again, Which Kelly has said Ill go down to 162-163. Under Robert Garcia, it will be a Totally Different Outcome is my Honest opinion!

I don't know why anyone should believe anything coming out of the Garcia camp about guys making weights after the nonsense with Rios.

Martinez has the frame to fight at 168. The problem is that the top fighters at 168 don't reperesent a big enough payday considering how likely they are to beat him.

Kelly was considered a "Big MW" when he entered the ring at 168 for Pavlik/Taylor 1. Sergio has entered the ring at 170 yet people keep claiming HE is a small MW.

Sergio is a 154lb fighter fighting at 160...why do you think he should move up to 168...The guy can eat full meals and make 154...
