I also agree that them getting that series of TUF, but not the Lesnar one (ESPN got it last LAST minute) was really odd. They got Koscheck-GSP TUF series but didn't get the finale IIRC? Or the GSP-Kos fight? What was that all about?

It's a very tricky deal so you can't really blame ESPN for not showing the stuff, the only time I hate it is when channels like Primetime try to cash in on cards that aren't even on PPV. I recall a Cruz fight (I think it was Mighty Mouse, definitely wasn't the Faber card) was PPV over here. ****. That.

It wasn't the Mighty Mouse fight, that was for free on Premier (they're subscription but they showed it for free) do not remember Primetime ever having UFC, though they have had MMA of course.

Yeah, that was it, maybe I'm just remembering it wrong and was bitter because I didn't have Premier

Again, it was free whether you had Premier or not! Unlucky man!

I don't think it was on Virgin, that was the problem.

Got to watch it elsewhere anyway, but it was a bit of a **** on.

I don't think that there is too much of an interest among uk ufc fans to watch domestic fights. Sky have cage fighter on mid week which is crap. They're showing some cage warriors stuff too which is great but talking to friends of mine who watch ufc they have no real interest in them shows all they wanna watch is ufc which is a pity. The only time I've seen people tune into a non ufc fight was the alex reid-tom watson bout which tells you everything you need to know about peoples attitude to non ufc bouts
I remember an interview with sky head barney francis in boxing monthly where he said something like that they were testing the waters with ufc IIRC?? I presume the finale and the gsp fight were part of espn's deal with ufc?
