If manny was using steroids

Well I think when you reach championship level you should be tested year round. Just the thought that someone could show at anytime could deter a lot of people. It should be even more important in a sport like boxing where someone can actually get killed. Really if Floyd wanted he could have just dropped the testing issue and roided up himself, same as JMM did.

 

Don't PED's come up in urine anyways ? I mean has Manny never been tested ? Urine or Blood ? Anyone who has ever been cuaght has been caught under normal testing procedures ..I find it too conveinent of an excuse that OSDT is the only way to catch someone !

 

he's been tested many times normally, if so many drugs can only be caught via blood testing then surely it would be standard procedure to blood test.

To me, honestly, it just sounds like excuses from the Mayweather camp. Which I dont understand, because he would be the favourite to win if they ever met.

It just pisses me off that this would be the biggest fight in history, with the most money, probably the biggest ever audience. But yet for stupid reasons the fight wont happen.

 

Floyds style of random testing is still effective and better than whats in place right.
I love how people criticise Floyd for it not being year round.Manny wouldn't agree to it during his training camp,let alone year round.

 

I think Floyd wins this by a clinic ..But it is an excuse ..I mean there hasn't been any solid evidence that he's on something ..Its a shame because he is denying the people what they want .. But I have to disagree I don't consider this the biggest fight in history

nobody believed it until AFTER manny declined the tests and came up with lame excuse after lame excuse

of course its better to test year round, but that doesnt make 4 months of testing "useless" ... its not as effective as it could be, but its FAR better than the current standard. thats pretty easy to see

manny has never been tested in the weeks leading up to a fight, most fighters havent ... shane mosely still hasnt tested positive to this day, the only reason he was caught was due to federal investigation. im not positive he would have been caught with a blood test anyway, but it wouldnt have hurt to have the procedures in place

if manny was serious about clearing his name and winning his lawsuit, he would have set up the exact style of OSDT that floyd employs for his fights after the accusations were made. he could have even included the cost of the tests in the lawsuit claiming it was necessary to clear his name ... but hes not cause he knows that these puppets will believe whatever comes out of his mouth, even though his actions constantly contradict his words

 

It is standard for the majority of professional sports leagues around the world. It's not a new idea...

What about Fernando Vargas how did they find out that he was on the juice when he fought Oscar ? Was that Urine or Blood ? And why does Manny have to clear his name ? Because a Mayweather acccused him ? I never knew they were the authorites in the sport ..

People have been caught with normal testing procedures ,I don't know if their needs to be dramatic changes due to someone's paranoia !

 

In what way have Floyd's comments cost Manny money or prevented him from doing business? At what value is this loss...these are the key questions that will have to be answered.

Exactly...this is the point, no one knows who does or doesn't use, because the testing is fossilized. I feel more confident PBF doesn't cheat because he is willing to test and does in fact test regularly and randomly, but I'm not anymore "trusting" of Floyd than I am of Manny, the test results are what matters not whether I "trust" them or not.
