Well said ! , the only thing is I disagree with Castro not knowing about the money he's losing by not allowing elite sportmen to turn profesional , as you said : he's the son of Satan , he knows , the problem is that he talked a lot of crap at the begining of the revolution ( 60's ) about the " evils " ( lol , talk about irony ) of profesional sports , crap that's even in the history books so he can't go back on his word to save face (he rather let Cuba dissapear of the map than go back on his " ethics " ) , he knows , that's why he suspends or imprisons anybody who even think or helps somebody to defect . Remember that he's an hypocrite at heart , he says he's a comunist but behaves like a capitalist ( loves to give out Rolex watches to his friends for example ) , he's the embodyment of the double moral , wich btw started to be seen in Cuba in the late sixties early seventies , maturing during the eighties and becoming entrenched in Cuban psyche in the nineties ( so called " special period " ) , he hates seeing all those talented sportmen go to the " Yankee " without profiting .
