yea so Floyd sparred Pernell 1 or 2 fights after Pernell schooled Julio. That's the first thing I checked too. I wanted to see if that Pea he sparred still had anything left in the tank.

Never heard him speak respectfully of former fighters like this. He loved Aaron Pryor and Larry Holmes, couldn't make up his mind between Hagler and Leonard, and was fascinated by Gennaro Hernandez.

(skip the part where he talks about Dubai)

It'd be cool to see Floyd train others one day after retirement.

Good interview, reminds me of those shoot interviews they have with wrestlers, which are the style of interviews i would like to see with more boxers.

Do you seriously think Whitaker would have been doing anything other than take it easy on a 17yo kid?

No wonder he throws it so damn quick.
Pull counter is one move i can't get down. you almost have to guess when ur opponent is about to shoot the jab.

Why is Mayweather so scared of a Filipino midget?

I agree i think he'd be a great trainer....really good tactician, descriptive, the pedigree, etc.....watch some of his old interviews on youtube, describing how to counter the jab...bodypunches, shoulder roll, pull counter, check hook etc .....besides being an ******* dude knows his ****
