Will Sergio Martinez go up to 168 or a catch weight in between to face Kelly Pavlik?

OK, ya got me. I don't think a 100% focused Pavlik can beat Martinez. The style is all wrong, Martinez has a very good chin, good pop on his punches, great hands speed and great lateral movement. KP got tagged a bunch later in the fight with that straight left, right when it looked like he was gonna start to take over the fight. Sergio started spraying him with 4-5punch combos, and usually that left got through and sliced him. If Sergio had a suspect chin, then yes I would definitely suspect KP could finish him when he was tired, but he couldn't before, and Sergio now knows the blueprint :deal

I understand that you're a huge fan. I'm a huge fan of Sergio's (I'm not from Argentina, nor am I Argentinean) and I'm not trying to be a nut-hugger either, but I think 9 outta 10 times, Sergio busts KP's face up and beats him. Beating KP isn't his best win BTW, I'd say it was that KO of PWilly brah. Not to say KP wasn't a good win, but Williams already had a win over Martinez and was still a very feared fighter before Martinez cracked that chin of his :hey

Martinez is looking forward to a fight with Chavez, Jr., or Void. Void will refuse to fight him though. Chavez, Jr. will be forced to fight him..........

Pavlik is going down very fast because he always blocks punches with his face. This fighter has no defense and no head movement. Sergio doesn't want to waste his time with Pavlik.

Pavlik needs to work on his defense because he can't fight the way he fights anymore. Use his face and chin to block punches is a great harm to his health.

Martinez was going to return the favor by giving pavlik a rematch but pavlik said he cant make 160 pounds any more. I read you keep mentioning that martinez weigh in 10 more pounds on fight night 1 time at mw when he fought dzin but come on man its that all u can come up with? Martinez dont owe pavlik anything by moving up at 168 pounds or a 164 pound catchweight to fight him again. <<<That's too high for martinez. You know since hopkins still feels he can still compete then why dont pavlik call him out for the rematch since hopkins beat him in a shut out?

If pavlik wants to avenge his loss then why dont he call out hopkins who is coming off a lost to dawson? Hopkins beat Pavlik much worse then what Martinez did. If Pavlik had a 100% fever, then why dont pavlik show everyone he can beat hopkins 100%?

Yeah, that'd be a good fight for B-Hop as well, see if he can recreate the stuff he did the first time around, and Pavlik can probably make the weight a lot better no problem. Pavlik weighed 178 against Martinez after re-hydrating, and hadn't really fought at MW much leading up to the match (Locket, Espino, and Rubio aren't super quality bouts, and he had to drain for Martinez) so you know he's better suited for SMW / LHW. If B-Hop isn't planning on retiring, maybe he and KP can do it again. Maybe KP can find the old guy this time around. As for Martinez...no chance. I said 9 times outta 10 Martinez wins, but I'm sure I'll stick with 10, at MW of course.

I give credit where it's due...all you Pavlik fans told me KP was gonna beat him easy etc etc...HE DIDN'T.

I could care less where KP was in his training camp...he decided to come out and fight, and it's his own flaw and problem that he was in rehab.

It's your "opinion" that KP was at 50%...KP looked the same as always when he fought Martinez IMO.

Yes Sergio would make him more bloody...based on what I've seen with Sergio, and how easy KP is to hit these days (much easier than he used to be on the come up), I think Martinez would batter him even worse than he did before.

Kelly is not in a position to demand a rematch. There was "want" by the fans to see the 2 fight, when they did; there isn't that "want" anymore. People saw him get ****ed up, and the MAJORITY think it would happen again, but worse.

Your letting your like of KP get in the way of the truth...that is for sure.:deal

You wrote me a private message a few years ago explaining why you don't like fighters with black skin.:patsch:rofl

Your opinion does not count...***gots like you, who bring Floyd into a debate about Sergio or Kelly, really do not know the sport..your a troll..I'd spit on you if I met you in person and make people laugh at you....you wouldn't be able to do anything about it either...:deal:hi:

How many weeks did Pavlik have to get ready for Martinez? So its Martinez fault Kelly was drinking? Lame excuses.

Just accept the fact that Martinez was put against Pavlik to lose, not to win. Just like he was also put in there to lose against Williams, who was suppose to fight Pavlik.

He already taught Pavlik a grave lesson. It wasn't close. He had him beaten, battered, and bloody as ****. There's no need for them to fight again, period.
