It does not help him, and in all fairness is embarrasing. I'm not saying i know any better or know more about boxing etc but good boxer does not always = good coach.

How much money do you think Eubank & Benn made?

Inside the ring's pretty much purely a cheer leading exercise anyway, the training's already been done. It boosts a sons confidence a hell of a lot to have their father cheering them on. Any athelete would love their father to be there stood along side them while they were competing, it makes it extra special if their father was a world class athlete in the sport they were competing in.

Who wouldn't want their dad there?

And who's anyone to say he shouldn't be?

    Eubank made $35 Million, apparently.

Benn supposedly made in the Neighbour hood of $10 Million.

There is a clear difference between cheering on and going over to the corner and telling someone what to do. The two things are mutually exclusive. Cheering on is support, going over (for arguments sake) and saying "you need to throw the uppercut" when the man you work with day in and out and who trains you has just said "start throwing a jab to the body" is not helpful.

If Eubank wants to train his kid and Jr thinks it is for the best, then set up a Joe and Enzo style system, not a system of Dad sits in a suit being interviewed by TV crews and walks over to stick his nose in for 20 seconds every break.

I think you clearly have issues and a strong dislike with Eubank Snr, fair enough!

    What?

it's quite clear that if the guy's getting conflicting advice from the man who's meant to be his trainer and his famous dad sitting ringside, that's not going to do him any good.

You're way off. I have no opinion on Eubank Sr as a man, and as a fighter I have the utmost respect for him. Perhaps you see criticism as a sign of bias or dislike...it is nothing of the sort. An objective and honest person can and will be critical of someone or something they usually like and give respect and praise to someone or something they usually dislike.

With being an official coach of an African Olympic Squad for the past few years, surely he has all the relevant qualifications.

Also, Chris Sr's list of past trainers is impressive - Lenny DeJesus and Luis Camacho (who both worked in Duran's corner) and Patrick Ford (who was the only fighter in history to be trained by both Futch and D'Amato). He was well-taught and knows the trade and craft thoroughly, clearly.

I am currently working with the Boxing hopefuls for the Angolan National Team, training my son Chris Eubank Jr. as a professional boxer and running the Eubank Academy for Young People.

I dont think you can blame Eubank for wanting to help his son and it does seem to be working so far. Eubank has been there and done it and anyone would be stupid not to take advice from someone of his stature, son or otherwise. As long as Chris Jnr knows the set up and its not confusing him then I can't see the problem.

Does Snr still have that big truck? Not seen it in a while and I'm fairly sure I saw him driving an open top Rolls Phantom in Essex the other week  Thought he lost most of his cash, obviously not!!

He only goes to see his son when Jr has tv cameras on him.
