Mayweather will eat more leather than usual in this bout, but will outclass Cotto to a UD.

p.s. I've dreamed this match twice in the past week. Mayweather struggled mightily in one and got viciously KO'd with a left to the body in the other. :huh

Ya man. From David Mayo, Grand Rapids press columnist, with close ties to Mayweather camp:

Mayweather clearly is tapering off earlier than he did before any of his previous 19 championship fights. He hasn't sparred since last week. He didn't do a boxing workout Saturday, Sunday or Monday. While making 147 pounds wasn't a struggle for him, it required some level of diligence. Not so at 154, and he is taking advantage to rebuild after an eight-week camp

MayweatherUD12Cotto The defending champion will have some moments. A fierce bodyshot hurts Floyd, but comes back to humble Cotto.

    Over 500!! :happy

Not that it's an ESB poll record or anything (some are probably up around or above the thousand mark) - but this does mean we've got a large enough sampling to be a solid representation of posters' views here.:good Nice round number, too.

Oh, I picked. ;) (check the poll results)

Unfortunately, the 10k vCash I was going to bet on this event was scattered to the wind when Senchenko vs. Malignaggi went Under 9.5 Rounds after my dumb ass went all in on the Over. :-(

No, Vyacheslav Senchenko is a glass-skinned paper-hearted disgrace!! :cus

You wouldn't have dared sass me like this last week. :bart

Ugh....it's going to be a long trudge back up to quintuple digits...:!:

<-----------Put most of my vcash on Senchenko. Put the rest, just to be safe, on the over.

    Yeah...:-(

I guess neither of us KSAPM.

Still picking Mayweather to win a slightly closer than expected UD over a Cotto who knows this is probably his last shot at achieving true greatness.

    We didn't KSAPM+EB. :deal

Honestly, as much as Vyach has plenty to mope about as it is (no more paper champ status to get away with telling all the hot Kievan babes he's the best welterweight in the world...a mug that's been downgraded from "only a mudda could luv" to "kill it with fire!!" by the literal handiwork of Manos di Piedra...probably severed ties with Union Boxing, seeing as they invested and lost a shitload of hryvnia on his 4th straight showcase defense at home, which had a pitiful turnout thanks to his previous three defenses...maybe a new painkiller addiction...wounds to his pride and psyche that will never recover, having been stopped by, well...) - I hope he logs on here to ESB and sees what he's wrought on our vCash totals and feels really, really, really, really bad about it.

I stood to possibly get damn close to the 15k mark betting on Mayweather vs. Cotto but for his bug-eyed adjustment-impaired punk ass.
