Have you ever seen a grown man dunking one of those little preschool basketball hoops then thinking they are all badass? That is RJJ's career in a nutshell except towards the end the hoop collapsed and he fell flat on his ass
Hey I can't knock your opinion, if you like that wild ****, which would only work against bums, hey that's you, but to act like Mayweather wasn't in more exciting matches than Roy, and saying his star shown brighter than Floyds when Roy could barely get on HBO let alone PPV in his prime. Roy had zero respect, and was always a afterthought to the likes of Tyson, Lewis, Mosley, Tito, and ODH. I miss Roy too, but lets not rewrite history, when Roy was a Fraud in every way possible
Roy looked way more impressive because of the opposition he fought but Floyd has fought the best and done more
Roy fought nobodies in his prime. It's easy to look good against them. He was still fun to watch though.
That's a hard one, Roy in is prime had unbelievable speed and athleticism, while Floyd has those same traits, but not to the same extent as Roy. On the other hand Floyd's technical and defensive abilities surpasses Roy's
Very tough question. Even as a floyd fan I'd have to say RJJ looked more impressive. I can honestly debate this either way if I wanted. Just counting in his prime, not judging based off his whole career,in his prime RJJ looked like he was a grown man fighting 6th graders. Even though some would argue he prolly was, I just find it more impressive that the guy did everything your not suppose to do in the ring and still kicked ass.
Lmao. Look at the nostalgia points for Roy. If Floyd were fighting Off-Duty Policemen he would look like God.
Rj all day, every day. The guy was so much better than his opposition that he could literally toy with them.
Roy Jones Jr. His performances put my jaw to the floor and were like nothing ever seen before. Floyd's fighting is a different kind of amazing. Equally effective, but not as impressive per say.
