I think Nazim/Mosley were just looking to out power him, rely on shanes quickness and power Graham/Hatton- overwhelm and smother Roach/odh,- maybe activity, punch at his shoulders arms, anywhere he could land i think Berestain/Jmm were in awe of Floyd
That the fighter couldn't execute doesn't mean that the game plan was wrong but post them I'm interested
ODLH had the best plan IMO. To simply look aggressive, and outpunch him even if punches are not landing or hurting (Remember the body shots when he wasnt even connecting)
"Shane’s going to come out and hit Floyd in the mouth and Floyd is going to sprout a tail, grow wings, draw fangs and claws and turn into a dragon in the ring… and start spitting fireballs. .. and I’m tell Shane, use lateral motion to get away from the fireballs, slide up under him, step on his tail and punch him in the stomach because we still not going to lose because he turned into a dragon." - Nazim
Nazim's plan was for Shane to jab to the body and land the overhand right. Which he did in round 2, but Floyd adjusted and took the punch away. Didnt seem much different in JMM's game vs Mayweather then he usually uses. Alot of feints and combinations. Hatton and DLH were to overwhelm. Oscar predicated on the jab, Hatton being the stronger guy.
