Come on man, Cotto is in a different class than Gatti. He would be broken down and stopped brutally by Cotto around the 8th or 9th round.

I have much respect for Gatti he was a warrior and seemed like a really great person. Cotto to me is a step up in boxing skill and would win by tko or possibly decision.

Gatti was a hell of a warrior but he was just a glutton for punishment.

    Cotto TKO6

    RIP

Might have something to do with the fact it is a really obvious question.

    Next up:

Mickey Ward or Sugar Ray Leonard?

I think Gatti's primer was at 130lbs. The best Gatti (RIP) at 140 or 147 would fall short against a prime Cotto in my opinion.

cotto will break him down and win, probably by stoppage but a prime gatti doesnt go down without a fight and gets some really good shots in and tests cotto for a little while at least
