The purse submitted to the NSAC is the money that needs to be paid to the fighter that night. Mayweather's guarantee is based off of projections of various revenue streams. For his guarantee to be this high, then they expect the revenue streams to be pretty strong.

 

Well for those of us who aren't borderline ******ed, it's pretty much common sense. His guarantee is based of what numbers an accountant can substantiate. They will take the figures both guaranteed and projected, plug those numbers into advanced economic tools, which then produce numbers digestable to someone not educated in economics/finance/accounting. Your implication that the numbers are fabricated demonstrate how ****ing dense you are. This is business, there are people's jobs and companies that are dependant upon this event, these stakeholders don't take their responsibility and/or cash flow lightly. Floyd is a professional, he associates with professionals, the money is in line and only a complete dumbass would question that.
