A quick question & answer... Where you from? Just curious. Also, the fight was offered at 12 rounds, which I love.

So is this fight really coming through or what?

And are you still fighting Love on June 16?

I'm pretty sure Chauncy already said he'll delay the Love fight, to take on $uper $eth on June 30th.

A brave decision which I applaud.

I had to approve the proposal, then they take my name to Team Mayhem & tv, then if they approve, I get a contract.

They will approve him for TV. Seth is a huge puncher, Chauncy has the #1 chin in HW Boxing.....They are both Top 10 and Chauncy is a double Top 10 to both Klits. They are both young and in their 20's. Chauncy is a life long boxer and Seth is a late comer. All the angles are there.

But the biggest thing is this....Team Mitchell doesn't want any more chin induced chicken dancing. They think Welliver can't bust his jaw. But they are wrong. In the late rounds, Seth will start to go down. And after Seth is made to chicken dance enough, Chauncy will have his freedom.

And New...NABO HW Champion! Ch Ch Ch Chauncy Welliver!

I've got $uper $eth by TKO5, with a brave Chauncy being stopped on his feet by a savage combo.

Any Iron Chin can be stopped, when someone is gassed & taking brutal punishment.

Chauncy Welliver = 371 HW Rounds Without Going Down + However many Seth Mitchell can last on June 30th!

    Welliver > Chuvalo

Chauncy doesn't need to go down to be stopped, the referee can stop a fight when a fighter is hurt & unable to defend themselves on their feet.

    See Foreman-Chuvalo.

Missoula, MT. But I will start graduate school at the EWU Riverfront this fall. 12 rounds is great. I think you can drag him into deep waters and drown him. Good luck :good.

Both these guys are gonna be the American X factor in the HW division over the next few yrs, and hopefully Nino and Bye Bye are right there too.

Good to see top American talent risking their rankings vs one another, as Id rather see Chauncey get Solis again and Seth get Fury.

One of em's going back to the drawing board.

I like Mitchell, but I think Kenmores MOSTLY right about his lack of versatility. Once he's countered well, he seems to completely lose focus.

Make him miss and make him pay. One big question here is....will Chauncey go for his typical 12 rd outworking type win or will he sit on his punches and look to land a huge R hook and test Mitchells resistance.:think

I say that Chauncy has got to box and move, even if it means giving the first 5 rounds away. Slugging with Mitchell is a risky venture, particularly given that he has such a devastating body attack.

My guess is that Chauncy should take the same approach as he did against Solis, only on a higher energy level and with more sophistication (in terms of moves, evasive techniques, and tricky counters).

The key to a Chauncy victory will be if he is successful and moving backwards and sideways, at all times, as Mitchell comes at him. Also, Chauncy will need to be super adept at constantly moving his head, up, down, and side to side. He needs to make Mitchell miss with everything.

If Chauncy can execute this part successfully, then, as he's pulling away, he can connect with lots of taunting, slapping jabs. He can tie up Mitchell whenever the two get close. If and when Chauncy connects with solid head punches, he should resist the temptation to move in and follow up. Mitchell's last two opponents felt the impulse to attack -- after landing repeated rights -- and look what happened to them.

I think that after about 5 or 6 rounds of this, Mitchell may show signs of fatigue. He's got huge muscles...his arms may start to feel like massive sledgehammers that he can't move easily. At this point, Chauncy can test the waters by putting combos together.

Assuming Mitchell fatigues, then in the second half of the fight, perhaps, Chauncy can get aggressive. Or, more likely, display careful, measured outbursts of aggression that are sufficient to win the remaining rounds without exposing himself to danger.

    Just my two cents.

I know some super knowledgeable boxing guys -- and I credit them as knowing more than me -- who insist that nobody can play "keep away" with Mitchell. These guys say that the only way to beat Mitchell is to get his respect, to hit him and hurt him, and to make him move backwards.

But I wonder. I'm thinking Mitchell can be taken by an awkward, shifty, tricky boxer who is smart enough to do all the right things while keeping distance.
