New Grant gloves are being flown in for Mayweather and Alvarez after Mosley's trainer, Naazim Richardson, spotted the plastic patent leather thumb section and cited a bad seam on the equipment, complaining that plastic can cut a fighter's face more easily than leather.
Cotto's camp agreed, as did Keith Kizer, executive director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission. The new gloves are expected to arrive from New York sometime prior to the opening bell.

It amazes me that the so called man who is trying to clean up the sport is found out with proof to be a cheater yet Pacquiao has never tested positive and Mayweather will have you believe he is the Saint.

I seen a pair of grant gloves like these, the thumb isn't hard plastic, the thumb is a shiny texture & a different material to the leather fist of the glove

When reebok made gloves for khan that were under 8oz, did we blame khan? No! Reebok rightly got the blame. Grant have come out with the gloves, so I don't see why Canelo & Mayweather are both being called cheaters
