What about Canelo v Sugar Shane?

All the talk and focus seems to be on the main event and this fight seems to be going under the radar.

There's plenty to make this a very interesting match-up, not the least being the huge gap in ages between the 21 year old Canelo and the 40 year old Mosley.

Is Calelo all he's cut out to be? Can the 40 year old Mosley add yet another world title to his collection? Would a loss for Mosley mean the end?

I think there's almost as much to like about this fight as the main event :good

Agree with you there. The best result for boxing going forward would be a win for Alvarez. Hard to see much point Mosley continuing if he loses again.

If theres to be an upset could be in this fight. Nut cant see it happening. Alvarez wins on the cards. Shane would have to get a k.o to win. Dont think he will do that

I think you're right there. Could prove a huge test for Alvarez.

I hate how Mosley trys to touch gloves with his oppo after every round, his fight with Manny was pathetic, he said he was going to slug it out toe to toe and ran like a Girl.

Yeah honestly i predicted mosley pac being a mismatch, haha
then the insane hype of that fight got to me. As i recall mosley
Won round 1, then felt Pacs power and went tinto survival mode.
I mean prime for prime Mosley destroys Alvarez. Tonight ill be
Pulling for mosley but he needs a ko to win. It depends on what
    he has left at 40

Stylistically it is a tough match-up for Alvarez. Plus there's the experience Mosley brings. Will depend as much on where Mosley is at as anything else. He can't have too much left at the very top level.

Prime Mosley beats the current version of Alvarez. But I seriously doubt we've seen the prime of Alvarez as yet.

Perfect example of a crossroads fight.
Canelo MUST land something big on Shane early to gain Mosley's respect other wise it will be a tough fight for Alvarez.

Once Shane starts to move & attempt to "Box" it's a sign that Mosley is OK with surviving.

Worst match up of the night. Mosley is done, done done. Old, fighting above his best weight and has been shite in most of his recent bouts. Barring a 1Punch KO Mosley has less chance than I have of nailing Kim Kardashian.

To me that would just mean Mosley is only in it for the money at this point, and the ability to say that no ever knocked him out (if he refused to engaged the whole fight and loses another lopsided decision).

I think that's exactly how he intended it to sound.
