    Round 1

McDonagh is shimmying side to side, tossing jabs out at Rea. McDonagh leaps in with an uppercut, caught in a midair embrace by Rea. A trickle of right jabs sent flying up by Rea but not bothering his fellow southpaw. McDonagh dances around him, checking jabs off his own right glove and pressing forward.

    10-9 McDonagh

    :nod I remember.

Don't think McDonagh is up to Nielsen's level, though. :good

    Round 2

Rea is loading up on right hooks springing up off bent knee. McDonagh is circling out and holding Rea at bay with his long right jab. They flurry at each other, moving close but then quickly reversing like opposite-polarized magnets. McDonagh flurries to the body and gets his arms held by Rea. Right to the body by Rea. McDonagh ducks a flurry and comes up into a hold. Ugly round. McDonagh waves a right jab around, then dives in face first against Rea's chest and just misses as Rea tries to time a left. Nobody is landing any punches. This is dire. Long left to the body by McDonagh. Chopping right by Rea misses. McDonagh jumps in, slapping and missing. Clinch.

    20-18 McDonagh

    Round 3

Lots of diving and lunging by Rea. McDonagh waves a wet tissue right jab out at him, then grabs him around the neck. A few body shots up close by Rea. Sloppy misses by McDonagh, overhand lefts clapping Rea on the back. Wild combo by Rea. McDonagh wraps him up. McDonagh hops in place, then puts out a right jab. Rea moves his head, then lands a right hook while turning McDonagh. Clinch, Rea in a headlock with McDonagh pushing down on him. Body shots by Rea.

    10-9 Rea

    29-28 McDonagh

McDonagh managed to keep Rea on the end of this jab in the third round, and even though he landed nothing of significance, that was enough to secure him the third, imo. Hopefully O'Kane is able to make things a bit more entertaining in the final.

I'll not be calling the PF final.

    Huck vs. Afolabi is on.

I don't care about Stieglitz vs. Hamdan, though - so I'll be back here for the Irish main event.
