Guys, I totally understand that no one gives Cotto much of a chance to win when Floyd has displayed greatly plus it's always hard to imagine what you have never witnessed anyway... I have a saying in boxing that for every Sugar Ray Robinson, there's always a LaMotta in their careers. The way I am analyzing this fight is as follows.

Since 2005 when Floyd came to 147lbs he has fought business fights more than anything else, however, most of us will agree that all his opponents since he came to WW have been shot, on their way to retirement, green or in the wrong weight like Hatton and Marquez.

We've seen Cotto beaten... Once against a known cheater which he manage to redeem last year and the fight with PAC in which he came in with the wrong mindset... First the weight was not his optimal weight and second he had a **** for a corner in Joe Santiago. jS had no business to be directing that camp and corner for that big of a fight... Plain and simple.

One thing that those two losses brought is the fact that each guy had an average of 60 thrown punches per round and used effective pressure which is not necessarily Floyd's prime style. Compare that to the amount of punches per round that Floyd average agains SSM and ODH which is 40.

I'm expecting for Cotto not to gas as this will be a slower pace fight for him. Yesterday he looked bigger than Floyd and tonight he will be at least 160 lbs. I know that Floyd is a surgeon in the ring but again.... For every SRR there's always a LaMotta... And we all know that SRR was simply the Best of All Time. I am predicting the upset, so enjoy the fight and I'll see you here after the fight.

I can totally see that some of you will say that I am not touching fundamentals like power, overall skills, speed, footwork and ring IQ which I know that Floyd it's better in some of those areas than Cotto but in boxing, you don't necessarily have to dominate on paper on all areas in order to win... Look at RJJ vs Tarver, ODH vs TIto (don't cry robbery), etc... In boxing you have to be great at certain things and just good enough on others... That's why styles make fights...

LoL you just compared Cotto to LaMotta. Remember, when LaMotta beat SRR he had about a 15 pound weight advantage. Of course, LaMotta is a far superior fighter than Cotto. Not to mention LaMotta is actually a true pressure-fighter. The type that could actually trouble and out-work Floyd. Robinson claimed that nobody put quicker pressure on him then LaMotta did.

Dude i am not comparing Cotto to LaMotta by no means... What I am saying is that SRR who's the best fighter ever had someone in his career who had his number.... Perhaps Cotto has Floyd's number

Cotto looked horribly slow and tight when he grew above 160 to defend his WW title once against Urkal. He will probably not gas out cause he still has done a lot of homework even if it is a final spell but you can't simply say that he will pull the upset cause Mayweather has to lose sometimes. Like HBO title is, building legends one round at a time. And that's how it goes, even if Floyd wants to deviate from his game plan like when he was rocked by Shane in the second round of their fight, thjere's always Big l, Roger and Garcia to order him to box and follow the game plan as had and as tough as things go. Cotto must stay on the ball of his feet and not try to sit down on big punches but even if he does so, and performs with flashy, authorative jabs and lead left hooks, downstairs and mixing up upstairs, he will surely have a problem keeping it up for twelve cause it's twelve rounds to win a decision, not just half of the fight early or latter.
