Here's what I know...if Floyd stands in front of Pac the way he did Cotto, he's gonna get more than a bleeding nose.....probably a broken one. If you're a Floyd fan you really do gotta worry that some of that mobility/reflexes is gone. He had to trade w/ Cotto because he couldn't get out of the way. If Pac/May ever do fight, I'm hoping to God Floyd decides to trade. Then you'll see what's up.
PAC fought a much faster and stronger cotto plus with the 8oz gloves. 10oz gloves seemed to favor mayweather and he didn't feel cotto's punches.. cotto looked shot in there!
Silly. This fight in no way indicates how Pac would cope with him. Two very different fighters with very different styles.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think their fighting at 154 lbs. Floyd has no business fighting at that weight and it showed tonight on top of his age.
The best way to beat Pac is to back up...herein lies the problem. This version of Floyd seems a couple a steps slower.
People forgetting floyd moved up to 154 and still looked impressive. Cotto made him work for it, which is what happens when two good boxers come up against each other. Kind of reminded me of the ricky hatton fight accept this time the ref allowed them to work out on their own. Mayweather really is a special boxer, he can do it all, fight on the inside and fight on the outside, whatever you want to do he has some sort of answer.
The crazy thing is that he didn't have to fight that way. He chose to go toe to toe. When he gave movement and starting jabbing that body he could have just boxed off the back foot all night. It was a great fight. Manny isn't beating Floyd without a jab and by trying to lung in. Now happening. Plus Manny doesn't have that inside game and would get pushed around.
The first 2-3 rounds were embarrassing for Cotto. He was getting beat in the middle of the ring. You could see the disappointment on his family's face. Floyd then went to the ropes where Cotto had success. Pacquiao doesn't have a 160+ pound body to push Mayweather back. Some of you idiots got this **** twisted. People saying Floyds legs are gone, answer this: How in the **** was Floyd moving so much in the 11th and 12th round? Don't worry, I'll wait......
