Cotto vs. Mayweather: Post your scorecards

Had Floyd Mayweather by 2 rounds!

 

8-4 Mayweather. Cotto in patches gave Mayweather trouble.

 

Have to watch it again. 9-3 or 8-4 probably . Cotto gassed out and gave away the last 4 rounds.

HBO was very biased for Floyd tonight and Compubox was all ****ed up.

 

115-113 Mayweather. Great fight!

 

I didn't know Stevie Wonder was in the house. Round 6 was Cotto's best round, which he won by a mile.

 

I'll have to re-watch. Thought the scores were way too wide.

 

10-2 is what I had, but a lot of rounds were close. I can see 8-4 being the closest though

 

8-4 in my opinion. To me Cotto was very well in the fight through 8, but physically struggled after.

Definitely gassed after the 8th, resulting in diminished aggression thus allowing Mayweather to cruise and take the last 4.

Great fight either way!

116-112 Mayweather

 

7-5 Void, if Cotto had not let up he could have won that fight. Pac totally dominated Cotto, stopped him. Cotto had Void's nose and mouth bleeding pretty badly.

 

118-110 Mayweather.

I gave the 6th and 8th to Cotto, the rest to Mayweather.

I see some are saying Cotto gave Mayweather trouble. I dont see it.
While the fight was competitive in small stretches, Mayweather I felt was always in control of the happening.

Mayweather's bloody nose came early and it never really stopped bleeding for the rest of the fight. It was'nt like Cotto was consistently hitting it.

Cotto did score was some solid jab, but never on a round by round consistent basis to merit banking rounds.

Easy fight to score, but I will say Cotto fought like a champion tonight and never went into survival mode. Fighting all the way despite being outclassed in the skill department.
