I have not seen anything I like, or heard anything. He is too cool. I dont like his use of noodles instead of pads, etc. I just am not sure what he brings to the table. His two most notable fighters learned the fundamentals of the sport from other trainers.
Lol@shane and fundamentals in the same sentence u kan klearly see thats why as soon as the reflexeses are gone he didnt have anything else left.
You are right. I have never been a fan of his style...square up with his chin out. I see no evidence of Naz bringing anything to the game.
The major game plan seemed to muscle Canelo to the ropes and butt him. Just like with Dawson. Problem is Mosley always relied heavily on his athleticism, reflexes and chin and they made up for his lack of ring IQ. Naz seems to be trying to work with the latter to no avail.
He gave false information in the corner. He should have told Shane that he was behind. Moseley is done.
He's a smart dude and has interesting things to say about the sport psychologically, but he's not that great of a trainer. I always thought so. That noodle **** and the rag swinging is BS, I'm sorry he's a good guy, but he's a little lost on certain techniques. And Shane's jab is one of the worst I've ever seen... if Naz was elite he would have fixed that horrible jab.
some smart people got enough of his clips together and put hip hop to them so now he's some sort of sage when in reality dude is gonna end up getting someone seriously ****ing hurt
He's good at spoting things like an illigal wrap or glove and sometimes has the right words in the cornor. Other than that I'm not sold on eather.
I agree. Never have seen much I like with him. Last night was no different... other then the game plan of "head-butts", I didnt see what they were trying to do. IMO not a very good trainer
