Well said. That's why I always scratch my head when people here make stupid predictions. Pac and floyd are great at what they do, but they are two completely different fighters. One is an offensive juggernaut while the other is a defensive genius.

  2. Great post.Couple that with Pacs ability to change angles mid punch would be floyds kryptonite on the ropes.

at lower weights people in general look more ripped because the amount of fat goes down, but when fat goes down so does muscle hence why people are stronger at higher weights.

The 145 thing was weird, don't think it made much of a difference, Mayweather defiantly faced a better Cotto, beat him in nine rounds and fought with him, of course Pac was going to do better, swarming Cotto is the best idea.

PAC lost to Marquez. Floyd won every single round. Explain?

That's what I don't like about some boxing fans. They're content on coming to conclusions on paper rather than actually seeing the fighters fight.

There are no sure things in boxing. Very few people expect Cotto to do this well and he certainly didn't look like a 7-1 underdog.

If fights were based on paper, Floyd would have knocked Cotto out in less than 8 rounds, not struggle for a good part of the fight.

Fight needs to happen. simple as that.

Absolutely. And who knows how their styles would match up? You never know until these guys get in there and apply their craft and match their neurological reactions and habitual movements against each other. Far more shocking things have happened in boxing than Pacquiao beating Mayweather. I, for one, wouldn't say it's a mismatch by any means.

Full-time boxer May faced a Cotto with the Pac demon inside him, making him doubt himself.

Senator Pac faced a Cotto who didn't doubt himself.

Pac KO11, May 115-113. You tell me who did a better performance.

Floyd's potshotting offense isn't as effective as usual when an opponent has a good guard that parries. Both Oscar and Cotto(e) were able to pick off many of his shots for this reason.

Guys used to throwing combos can work through that guard much more easily.

Exactly nobody really knows until they show us. When you have two guys that are at that level anything can happen.
