Ok, how about a 1973 Foreman vs 1991 Holyfield?

I give George the edge. He was good at cutting off the ring and would KO Holyfield in 8 rounds.

    Why or why not?

Holyfield was a brawler , even if sometimes he boxed . Ike Ibeabuchi boxed Tua 2 on d 1 or 2 occasions he needed a rest .
Brawling with Foreman isn't smart and in his youth Foreman was quicker and busier than d version that only went d distance with Holyfield . I think it will b similar 2 Bowe vs Holyfield #3 .
McCall would b another story though

Holyfield by decision or maybe even late round stoppage.

Holyfield has faster hands, quicker and better footwork, and is the more athletic fighter. Holyfield's chin and durability is as good if not better. Holyfield also has the better stamina. This is the 27-0 (22) Holyfield who was 9-0 (7) in World Title Fights and 3-0 (1) vs. Hall of Famers Qawi x2 and an older version of Foreman. In Holyfield's next fight he beat Hall of Famer Larry Holmes by decision.

Sure, Foreman had awesome power but Holyfield could handle it. Old Foreman's jab was better than younger Foreman's and Holyfield handled it... he would handle the younger Foreman's jab as well.

    Why not ?

Because it wouldn't last more than 3.

Foreman pre Ali was a wrecking machine, a very scary man, the Bogey monster.

Holyfield gets blasted out and it's not pretty.

true. holyfield was a true warrior but 1973 foreman was a monster a give few people a chance against. and holyfield could be drawn into a brawl and in that case it would be over very soon, within 5 rounds

Well when the fat old Foreman who could barely keep his balance while throwing a punch was fighting him it looked to me like a young Foreman with the same massive power but at the same time the ability to throw a punch with everything he had without falling over and with speed and the menacing killer instinct and the disregard for anyone's attempts at boxing him would've literally blown away that same Holy in 3 rounds
