When you have a bloody nose, you don't breathe heavily through it unless you wanna exacerbate the damage

i cant get over how many people are saying cotto is shot!?

in my eyes he's last 2 performances have been hes best and against a person who gave him a vicious beating and the other being P4P KING!

he only won 3 rounds vs may but he was never OUT of the fight..

I WOULD LOVE! TO SEE HIM REMATCH PAC, if he could make 147 without draining himself (which unfortunately he said he cant) i truely believe he would box the breaks off pac

Cotto's movement is still there, his reflexes are there (maybe even improved), his legs are still there (his movement is improved), his stamina is still there, he is not 'gunshy' his speed of hand and foot is still there. Cotto is not even close to shot.

Wear and tear? Definitely. Not shot though.

Compare Mosley to Cotto. Mosley, although giving a fairly good account of himself last night is shot. Mosley was fighting in a lower level bout, yet it was clear he was fighting on instinct and heart from the first couple rounds, onwards. That was the sign of a shot fighter.

Disagree about Pacquiao, Pacquiao's speed and angles will always give him trouble IMO. But I do believe Cotto would give a better account of himself in a rematch and last the 12.

May weather's struggled both times he fought at 154, I think it's just not his weight class, should move back down to 147 to fight Khan (if he wins) & Pacquiao

agreed. it was a great win for him but just like pacquiao 147 is the limit..

there goes the dream of 160 or even 154 fight with martinez

if floyd took either fight id bet against him

Mayweathers and cotto both lookes great tonught. heavy breathing? nr1. he wase fighting at a higher pace than he wanted.mr2.his nose was cracked in the second round.the man is 35,still eating junkfood and drinking sodas after his training, and on top of it the man is pushing his body way to hard. thats okay, but not without resting properly. i think if mayweather ever loses its because of overtraining ang not age. overtraining will cause his body to slow down and get tired one day if he doesent start to relax more.

Do *******s understand any boxing terms?

  14. It was a tough ferocious fight, higher output against a quality opponent, he received body punches from a specialist and was bleeding from the nose. heavy breathing was nothing, floyd was in complete control. I do believe he was near spent in the 12th but his workrate over the 12 was unreal

Floyd wasn't tired because he came on stronger at the end of the fight. Floyd was in their with an elite, bigger fighter but he adapted when he needed to took control of the fight.
