I think the reaction is because Floyd set's such a high standard, if anyone else put on that performance last night it would be an amazing performance.

It was a Cotto fight. Jeebus. Must everything be about Floyd to all of you?

Still at the MGM Hotel and Casino. Grezt night of boxing. it was a competitive fight and best shape I have seen Cotto. PBF was technically excellent as was Cotto however the difference in speed and skills was apparent. PBF showed again that he can give and when necessary take it. The winners tonight PBF and Canelo Alvarez and the losers Miguel Angel Cotto and Sugar Shane Mosley all come out with credit.

Floyd fanatics are easily the most biased fanactial group around. Floyd said Cotto was his toughest fight, yet his fanboys are saying Cotto barely won a round, Cotto only had success cause Floyd let Cotto fight that way, and Floyd never struggled. Smh. The **** is silly. Your guy won, congrats. Now get off his dick and stop letting your clear bias and love for the man force you to make stupid ass comments to try and further a Pac vs May argument. That **** is stupid... Btw judging by most of Floyd fan scorecards Cotto conceivably won about 5 rounds. Nearly all of you great scorers having him winning different rounds. Smh

I'm sorry, but that was easy work. I scored it 119-109, but even then, I cannot see a round where you could definitely say Cotto won it.

Floyd dominated from the outside, but chose to fight Cotto's game on the ropes. Perhaps that had something to do with Cotto, but based on the fight and the clear difference in the levels of the fighters (as shown on the night), I believe that was Floyd's choice.

If Floyd kept it on the outside, I see a stoppage. But that's just a personal opinion based on observation.

Struggle? Not sure where that comes from.

    Interesting.

Which rounds did you think Cotto won definitively?

He didn't land as often as he usually does, that's the extent of his struggling.

He was not able to keep Cotto of him and was being hit more than often. His mouth and nose got busted. His corner was quiet as hell. Cotto made him look at times normal, even at times making him miss. Cotto even outbox him at times. People are so blind because of punchstat. Cotto was the much busier guy, but threw less? People just want to see the Manny/Floyd fight. It doesn't matter what these opponents do when they step in the ring against Floyd or Manny.
