Lavar dropped bombs but his ground game and stamina surely mean he'll always struggle when he steps up a level, maybe even the same level but against a good grappler. Loads of credit to Belcher for going into the Lions den and winning that way. There were some close calls where clearly his knowledge of the nuances of defending and attacking in BJJ helped him to survive. Diaz was a Diaz. Lets fight. Great win over Miller. He deserves his shot at the title now. In the meantime Edgar can get his rematch and Pettis notch up another good win.
Just amazing performence by Diaz. Ive never seen anyone hurt Miller with punches as much as Diaz did let alone actually go on to tap him. Miller has top level BJJ Blackbelt skills but damn Diaz is really putting it together. Diaz's return to Lightweight just keeps getting better and better and im going crazy thinking of him vs Edgar or Bendo.
And the problem thanking god is ? The guy has foot, water, clothing and shelter so already god is good to him. Add in the bonus of being one of the top Welterweights in the UFC knocking on the door of a title shot. Id thank god to.
Diaz submission was excellent considering he had only 1 arm around his neck to begin with and to move his body and miller the way he did was fantastic. To submit jim miller is a fantastic achievement
Hendo has a fighters mindset so I'd be intrigued to see that match up. Bendo won't back down from striking but Diaz is effective and longer.
Diaz vs Edgar is a mismatch Nate is like a lesser Nick and Edgar is all stick and move it would be like Condit/Diaz all over again but Edgar doing his thing for all the rounds
good lord....as big miller fan i hate to say, diaz made him look like a last minute replacement type fighter
