I really have to watch this fight again. Floyd really looked slow in there midway thru everyround after 4. But starting each new round he was fast and throwing some laser jabs. His hooks were on point but Cotto defended well. I can't beleive he wasn't throwing his trade mark straight right.

its childish rants like this that cheapen your credibility on this board.

stop closing doors and putting up walls like this, and challenge yourself to outdebate people who have a different view than yours rather than sit in the corner and do this...

Floyd needs to stay at 147 most definitely but I would like to see him go back to 154 one more time and fight Martinez.

On Topic. hell no he is not in his prime. Floyds prime was like 05 vs gatti lol. maybe even 08 vs hatton but def not now

Past his best. Less accurate and not as mobile. With that said he's still the best in the game.

No he's not. How can anyone be in his athletic prime at 36 years of age?

This was obvious even before the Cotto fight.

No way... he hasn't been in his prime since the Hatton fight. He's still neutralizing people, but he isn't the same.

He left his best weight over 10 years ago and in my mind will never be better at any other weight than super feather. IMO he is well out of his prime much like Hopkins(before Dawson) but still good enough to rule a division and the p4p rankings
