All the hype of him "working his way to another World title challenge".... He's had his shot and barely threw a single punch in the process, absolutely useless :patsch

I don't want to see fighters get hurt but that soppage was ****,that ref is a notorious wanker.
McCloskley who likes to portray himself as a savvied up cagey fighter actually has no defence.

The referee would have beaten McCloskey in a fight.

I have no problem with you saying you don't think McCloskey is any good, but you don't have to insult him like that. Bit disrespectful.

With a performance like that he is disrespecting boxing, he got stopped before he got seriously injured, the ref did him a favour.

    ;)

I watched the video with DeMarcus Corley in the post fight press-conference and he said that someone had told him that he was losing on all three of the judges scorecards at the time of the stoppage.

The stoppage was a good one IMO. Look at it this way, McCloskey was wobbled several times throughout the fight, he was getting hit clean with almost every big punch Corley threw, he wasn't hitting Corley clean, he had a broken nose for the second time in two fights and out of all the times he was wobbled throughout the fight, the time he wobbled in the tenth round was the worst and McCloskey looked like he was one or two power punchers away from being KO'ed.

Even McCloskey's promoter, Eddie Hearn said the stoppage was a correct one.
