I'm sorry I'm not seeing this GREAT SUPER STAR on the rise in Alverez if Shane had the hand speed he had even five years ago he would have won that fight.Shane exposed this kid even though Alverez throw the most harder aften shots. As soon as he gets in there with someone with hand speed and youth a good chin he's going to be in trouble and Delahoya knows it.After the Cotto vs. Mayweather fight Delahoya has heard saying no way Alverez fights Floyd he's not ready.Trying to protect this kid isn't going to do him any good

    Shut up.

Canelo kicked Mosleys ass better then both Floyd and Pac by the way.

Alvarez has gaping holes in his defense and his stamina isn't where it needs to be. A younger Mosley would have tee'd off on him something terrible.

21 years old and beating Shane Mosley - that's promise, even if Shane has faded some.

Old Shane Mosley scared the **** out of Mora, hurt Mayweather worse than he's ever been hurt and befuddled Pacquiao to the distance. He's nothing on his prime self, of course, just a shadow, but he's still a very strong, durable pro with more pro experience than nearly any other current fighter. Something to remember, that. This guy's no genius, but you learn some **** when you rumble with ODLH, Forrest, Vargas, Pac, Cotto, Margarito, Mayweather, Mayorga, Wright, etc...

Gave him fits with the butts and elbows. He was about to get big time brutalized when he intentionally butted Canelo's face open to put him off. He got brutalized anyway but lost some of my respect, I gotta say.

Yea I saw that. It made me like shane a little less because it looked like he head butted Canelo on purpose. Canelo was on a roll just before that too.

Even pac look better then canelo against shane so stop lying....he overrated period and once he fights at least one top guy at 154 he will get exposed

canelo is nothing more then a chavez jr....a protected fighter with a championship that hasnt fought a top guy but only people with names so they can say he's a draw......And Mosley did give canelo fits and land plenty of clean punces on him and if he trys to fight floyd he will ruin his career period

    Give me a break.

"If Shane had better hand speed, yada yada."

It works both ways, if Alvarez was fighting someone without a jaw forged with the finest iron on earth he would have won in two or three rounds. Most guys at 154 would be laid out!

Epic fight, that was some serious savagery going on in there and I will never forget it. Both guys are certified studs.

My 500 vcash won me a whopping 55, thanks Canelo.

I would like to see abit more intensity in his work, he reminds me of chad dawson that when he puts his punches together he can look great but he just doesn't do it enough. Fighting in bursts isn't gonna cut it at the very top.

i actually liked what i saw from canelo. he took what was given and outclassed his opponent. he put in some great body work and didnt get fazed by the cut. i'd like to see him a bit more active but he had to respect the fact that he was in the ring with ssm...even a shop worn, faded ssm.
