Pac would still probably get the decision but it would be a different fight. Cotto was not a confident fighter mentally after the Margarito loss. He would be 9 pounds heavier. And he seemed to develop a decent in fighting game. Different fight but he still would lose.

Last nights cotto at 154 destroys pac

Pac does everything he can to disadvantage the opponent and when they dont budge for him he ducks them

    It was the same Cotto.

However, it doesn't matter. Styles make fights. Mayweather struggling more against Cotto than Pac means just as much as Pac struggling more against JMM. Absolutely nothing. They are different fighters, and they have different strengths and weaknesses. Both Pac and Mayweather would pose serious problems for each other. That's why everyone wants to see the fight.

Cotto agreed, that's not a problem.. :smoke

The trainer and the added weight won't make a very big difference.. :deal

You put the two versions of Cotto with Pac, Pac would still do the same thing.. :bbb

Cotto is much better physically now with Diaz, and he's in a much better place mentally. Diaz is a special trainer, make no mistake about that.
Also he was 4lbs heavier at the weigh in, thats a massive 4lbs for someone like Cotto. Mayweather said he looked dry for this weigh in, now another 4lbs from thats a killer.
Also, since his fight with Pac, he exercised the ghost of Margarito. That also is huge.
He was riddled with self doubt after their 1st fight, and when Pac dropped him, you could see that he was full of doubt again.
Cotto was convinced he was going to beat Floyd, was busy, had a gamplan, and fought as well as he possibly could.
Ive no interest in discrediting Pac, or slowing smoke up Moneys ass, just saying it as it is.
Whether Cotto beats Pac, I dont know, but when Cotto stuck to his boxing, he did well against Pac, but he couldnt stick to it for 12 as you would need to v Pac. When Marquez 3times beat Pac, and he did, and when Morales did it, they had a plan and executed it perfectly.

Cotto seemed better physically and mentally for the Money fight tha I can ever recall.

I dont really think it matters as Cotto showed the exact same pattern vs Manny as he did vs Floyd with him fading down the stretch.
Pac just uses angles that Cotto cannot see and gets torn up by the activity.

Im not even a Pac fan either but the *******ism vs ***** stuff is sorta amusing though.
Both of your heroes are like cancer to this sport and untill they find the balls to fight eachother they are better off retired.

    :think

Could that 2 extra oz reduces Pac's power? :smoke

Maybe a little, but not quite enough to keep him from doing the same exact thing he did.. :smoke

It was the same cotto. he was able to fight at his pace that's why he looked great. He has trouble with offensive fighters that make him fight on his backfoot.

When floyd was letting his hands go cotto couldn't do anything.

    Styles makes fight.

The only people claiming Cotto was drained are *****s and Floyd, and none of them where even claiming he was drained at the time. He weighed 1lb more in his previous fight, 1lb is **** all. Your just a ******ed ****er.
