Who wants to set up an ESB board of control? We can make Jeff Thomas vs Rob Palmer for our interim 147lb title

What Longcount said was that under euro law you can hold a fight in country A whilst it is sanctioned by country B. It has happened before in Germany where fights sanctioned by the turkish board of control have taken place.

The Haye-Chisora will be sanctioned under the Luxembourg comission & will be something to do with the WBF

    :rofl

BBBofC are a privately registered company. What right do they have to say what is allowed and what isn't?

Funny how the sport's popularity has been in decline since Lewis retired and we've had to put up with the two most boring HW champions in history.

  12. About as much as I have.

There are very few ''governing bodies'' in sport, in the truest sense.

From what I've heard they're bypassing the BBB of C.

I didn't even know you could do this.

Could someone who knows about this sort of **** explain this?

The issue of the fight being unlicensed could play well or badly. Well as it makes it look a bit more like Haye/Chisora don't really care about the rules/money. Badly as the public may not take the fight seriously especially if other promoters run down the idea.

From what everybody is saying it appears that the BBBC can't stop the fight happening, fine, but I can't believe they'll just sit back and not impose any future sanctions on Mr honest rabbit home. The question isn't can the fight happen, its what consequences will there be for the rest of his stable? Is this fight really worth it?
