Who would majority of UK support: Khan, or Mayweather?

    Floyd is very popular in the UK. . And if I had to venture a guess as to what country has the highest ratio of "fans/appreciators to haters" of Floyd, it would be countries in the UK (and Ireland). . . Even some hardcore Hatton fans became big fans of Floyd. . .

    I'd support Khan, but Floyd would KO him, he's got a glass jaw.

    It's very disparaging to know that ENgland has such a great boxer, and they don't show him the love he deserves. . . I mean, HE WON U GUYS A SILVER MEDAL!!!

    He's brought world titles to England. . .

    So he gets sparked once, and then shows his reserve, comes back @ 140 to completely shut out Kotelnik (who has NEVER been shut out like that) to win a world title. . . Goes to Malignaggi's back yard, and absolutely destroys him, becoming the first man to legitimately stop him. . . Then he GOES TO WAR with Maidana, dropping him on the canvas, making him writhe in pain, rolling around clutching his stomach like some broad with severe menstrual cramps. . .

    Then he has a very entertaining fight with Peterson, in which he had hometown dynamics working against him. . . AND NOW, is rematching him!

    HOW CAN U NOT LIKE HIM?!

    er, cos he's a complete **** perhaps?

    Nobody living in England could say with any honesty that Khan would get more support. I'd love it to happen over here, 'would be hilarious seeing khans face when he realises 80% of the crowd are supporting mayweather.

    Floyd will have his supporters here just because Khan is not very likeable. *****s are dreaming if they think anyone outside the US knows who Floyd is though. He might be a superstar in the US but he ain't outside of it.

    I'd probably lean towards Mayweather. Most of my friends who watch boxing regular dislike him greatly. From what i've seen they'd be supporting Mayweather. And for the guy commenting why isn't he liked and we should get behind him. Theres more to it than being from your nation. We loved Hatton! I still do. Hate to see how underrated he has become particularly with the esb lot.
