I rewatched this fight and I was kinda shocked how close this fight actually was. The scorecards in this fight, including Harold Lederman of HBO were ridiculous. The HBO commentary was the most biased I've heard in a long time. Everytime Cotto did work against Floyd, landing good clean body shots they acted like nothing landed. Compubox was pure bull****. They weren't scoring body punches landed by Cotto. I noticed this in the 10th round when Cotto was landing shots, Compubox was not tracking them. Cotto's body shots and jab were two of the biggest highlights of the fight. He was popping Floyds head back at will at times, and those body shots were just brutal. Floyd-Cotto 10-9 10-9 9-10 10-9 9-10 9-10 10-9 9-10 10-9 10-9 10-9 10-9 116-112 Floyd edit: Here's the fight. Get to work gents. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0Aket1secA[/ame]
How many times have you watched the fight? I just rewatched it and scored it as objectively as possible. Floyd won by 1 or 2 rounds. You could give him 3 if your being generous. The commentary / scorecards in this fight were shameful.
Do you even know how to score fights ? Or are you just putting in random numbers that look good to you
I gave cotto 5 rounds , 4 was minimum He lost due too poor start and finish Mayweather was worried in there All this he got whooped , schooled , masterclass is bull**** It was close but mayweather beat him - If there was a rematch it would probably be like round 12
