The reality this fight was much closer than most believe. I agree with most of what you have said. HBO commentators were off. Cotto box beautifully at times even Floyd was surprise and his corner. Punchstat did not make any sense at all once again.
Absolutely. Compubox was ludicrous. Cotto body work in this fight went totally unnoticed. He was ripping Floyd with those body shots. I honestly couldn't believe how close this fight was watching it again. I thought it was fairly close the first time, but you really have to go back and see it with a clear head.
Tired of these sore loser Cotto fans. Compubox wasn't wrong, as it was pretty easy to see Cotto was missing a ton of shots and not be caught up in the crowd reaction to EVERYTHING Cotto did.
did you re-watched in the replay at TV5 after the PBA finals? i was about to re-watch and score it round by round when i fell asleep. it's clear that rewatching fights would score you rounds more clearly. and yes, those commentators are nut-hugging floyd like there is no tomorrow.

I think it was the 9th or 10th round, they had Compubox tracking numbers, and they didn't count clearly landed body shots from Cotto as it was happening. Pure bull****. Again, go rescore the fight.
