cotto was younger, faster. this cotto was slow, lethargic. the cotto vs pac would have destroyed the floyd from last nite
Since he came out of ''retirement'' he roided up, he is taller, stronger and bigger, he just fought at a lower weight for years cherry picking smaller men, at 154 they hit harder, if he ever fought a hard hitting fast and live opponent, you'd see why he did this. Pac started at what, 98lbs? so Cotto fighting pac is a complete mismatch by your logic too.
Cotto was younger, yes - but after Marg 1 - he went through the worst 18 months of his career. This can happen to fighters. it happens ALL the time actually. He went life and death with Clottey, a guy he would have clearly beaten pre-Marg 1. Pac caught him during this period, and got a catchweight of 145. Cotto moved up to 154 immediately after, got a new trainer, strung together a couple of wins, and avenged his first loss to Marg. He had re-invented himself, had gained back his confidence, and was motivated as hell. In my mind, Cotto at 154 was clearly the better version.
It's sickening when men blame others for their sexual urges after staring obsessively at an avatar for hours on end, then call the person in the pic ''gay''atschroll::dead:dead
Scar, just look at weigh-ins...u seriously can't tell anyone with a straight face that Cotto was weight drained. He looked stronger, fitter, fresher than the plodding version Floyd fought. I mean it's one pound from his last fight. jesus my **** weighs more than that. you also can't seriously say that Cotto is more effective at 154 then at 147 (145 whatever). Cotto is a natural ww, and any 154er with a pulse would give Cotto serious problems. Cotto is fighting at 154 because Pac kicked him out of 147. The better question here is, is how did Miguel Cotto magically become unshot and became this otherwordly middleweight in the eyes of ***** nation? Agenda much?
Beating a Marg that was battered by Pac and had a huge lay off isn't re-inventing himself, and the wins he had weren't of note. Everyone expected Cotto to be dominated probably KO'ed by May, even Cotto would have expected this after being savagely beaten by Pac, you don't get over a beating like that mentally.
Cotto, at 28, was never shot. He was going through a tough patch in his career. He need a change. He need to re-invent himself. Over the 3 years since the Pac fight, he did that.
No, by "my" logic Cotto is naturally bigger than both, as evidenced by the fact that he started his career at 140 and Floyd fought more than half his career at 130/135.
Margarito fought the best version of Cotto & raped him. (HBO had to create the "Plaster" story to save their investment)
Managing your weight to cherry pic isn't a natural process, his body structure is nearing a mesomorph, Cotto is more of an ectomorph, that's all there is to it.atsch
How about when they take one quick glance at what's clearly a picture of a flaming homosexual and call a spade a spade? Does that sicken you? :yep
According to Floyd fans Cotto was shot and damaged, now all of a sudden tihs is the best version of Cotto ever.
You have a pic of a black man that isn't you as your avatar and obsessively stare at my avatar and call me gayatsch:dead it's not even one incident that proves you're gay, it's an accumulation of all of the aboveroll:
Cotto was faster and stronger at 147. Also minus the beating Pac put on him.. Wish the first few rounds of the Pac fight. He was faster, stronger, better timing, better body work, and accuracy than he's ever shown at 154... He still looked good last night, I was surprised that he neglected the body so often though. On an elusive target like Floyd, the body should have been the number one target. I just dont see how the Cotto from last night would best the Cotto from the Pac fight.. But Cotto did show excellent determination during the middle rounds, only to follow with vintage Cotto fading down the stretch..
