I already know they don't. They count as closed circuit revenue. But the point still stands, if people were packing a movie theater, where booze isn't sold to watch this fight on Cinco De Mayo, I would imagine the house parties would have this on as well.

 

If you feel that way, then guess you are one of the only Pac fans not quoting 1.3 Mil Pac/Mosley and 1.4 Pac/Marquez, since Arum doesn't allow official release PPV numbers any longer.

By the way, I wonder why Arum would make a decision like that, when Pac is clearly the PPV king?? Hmmmmmm:huh:think

 

De La Hoya and even his company only make a small percentage of what Floyd makes for the promotion. They are only hired hands getting paid a flat fee.

I think 1.5 or 1.6 is gonna be where this falls, but Floyd and Oscar put on an excellent show.

 

Ortiz did less ppv buys, but it was the highest priced ppv in history at the time so it brought in more money than the Mosley fight

 

Try COMMON OPPONENTS with Mayweather and Pacquiqo...then show the average...

btw, i listed the REVENUE...FLOYD HOLDS SPOTS 1-4..You may not like that he does...but he does.

They both made a little over $78M in PPV revenue, Ortiz fight slightly more. Mosley fight had a bigger gate by 2 million, so it definately made more revenue all up than the Ortiz fight. But yeah I only put the PPV#s my bad

 

Well the guy who does the UFC numbers listed those for last year and that's what I go on since he's usually right and has no affiliation with TR.
