Cotto arrived in PR and is not talking to the press as a protest...

Might be angling for the Pac rematch, the only big payday he possibly has left.

Anyway Cotto has been a sore loser before, we've seen it with Margarito and to some extent Pac, long after the fight when others put the idea in his head Pac might be using PEDs, and that he was weight-drained. Maybe he did think he won and his trainer and friends might've been telling him that aswell which re-inforced that belief. Hope he explains himself soon

Put yourself in his place for a minute. You're probably at the tail end of a long, hard, extraordinarily demanding career. One where you have basically been placed into a box. You're one of the world's finest, but decidedly a notch below the arguable candidates for the single best. You finally had a thoroughly competitive fight with an all-time great, where you fought arguably the best you will ever fight. It's likely your last shot at definitive greatness, and you busted the guy up a little bit and did better than most expected. Might it not be easy enough to delude yourself a bit, given the circumstances? Given the amount of personal and professional pride on the line?

    Aye, H. Aye, good points.

Some people are sore losers. That's Cotto. When he loses, he takes his ball and goes home. It is what it is.

No one wants to see a rematch, Cotto was thoroughly outclassed.

A man beats arguably the #1/#2 guy at JMW by 9-3 and has him hurt in the 12th and that wasn't "thorough" enough for you??

HaHa, this is just wild. The expectations people have are amazing for this man.

Okay, thanks for the clarification. At least I don't feel like I'm being disrespectful.

I thought his main problem was stamina, actually. . He only threw like 25 punches in the championship rounds, and his overall punch output was lower than it's ever been. . . That either means: 1.) He really thought he had the fight in the bag, 2.) He was scared to get hit with a flush counter, and dropped, or, most likely, 3.) His fuel tank was on E.

Now, maybe the reason his fuel tank was so low is because Floyd was going to the body with some good, power jabs, and other punches early, and often. . .

Thorough - acting or done w/ great care or completeness.

i never said i had any expections, but if your going to use words like that, let them make sense and don't use it to amplify an "great" but not "extraodinary" performance by mayweather.

theres a thin line between giving props and kissing ass.

Something tells me Floyd won't be too kind to Cotto(e) during the build up of a rematch if Cotto(e) managed to get Floyd to go through all the motions for a rematch
