Need an Aussie cruiser super 6 or contender series

For me, Cruiserweight is by far the strongest weight class domestically with quite a few contenders and it would be great to see them square off against one another. A super six would be good, but there are probably enough to have a decent contender series, maybe open it up to Kiwis too. With the exception of the Barry Michael cards, I don't really see to many promoters trying to organise the domestic fights we want to see.

Who would you have in your super 6? Who'd win? The winner could fight Greenie or be lined up for an international strap. I'd make the super 6 knock out like contender. The s.middle 6 went on too long.

    My 6 would be:

    Brad Pitt
    Mostynn Niemann
    Daniel Ammann
    Shane Cameron
    Victor Oganov
Adam Forsyth (if he's hasn't retired??)

An even Kiwi/Aussie mix might stir up some good rivalry too if you put in Robert Berridge who has fought at cruiser and can bang and Vaitele Soi.

Aloua is a bit of an unknown quantity with 7 fights but had a good SD win against mCCRACKEN who some would say did enough to beat Cameron. Of course Vea and Cameron would give it a good go too. Cronje another.

Most of the names mentioned are of a similar level IMO.
Would be some damn entertaining matchups thats for sure.

I would lean for some sort of 8 man elimination tournament leading to the final being for the Commonwealth belt if possible.

Neimann is the best up nd comer of the bunch... He has alot of talent, with the right promoter and staying active he could become a top cruiser..... But I have said in the past a Aussie super 6/ contender at cruiser would b huge..... Mundine nd green as trainers ...it would b a hit

Anyone think there's the depth at any other weight class to pull it off without a few passengers?

Back home they have the PRIZEFIGHTER series which does really well,i would think this type of set up would be good for boxing here and it would get more fans with it being televised.barry hearn does a few of these shows every year.

Yeah any format that gets the fights people want to see would be good. I just don't see the promoters trying anything new. Just the same old that caters only to the hardcore fans.
