I had Mayweather up by a point, due to the 12th round.

Cotto's body punches defintely hurt Mayweather on some occasions and his pressure made him like uncomfortable.

Of course, Mayweather landed the cleaner punches. You can give it to Mayweather but it seems strange that all three judges favoured him by such a big margin. Maybe this had to do with May-Pac looming at the the horizon.

Percentage wise is this Cotto's best fight?

I did not see Floyd land 128 power punches, certainly not cleanly!

CompuBox isn't a way to score a fight. Never has been. Never will. The statistics and numbers aren't being put into proper context. Not all jabs and power punches are created equal. Not all produce the same reactions in the recipient. Hell, I'm not even sure how accurate CompuBox is. The true story lies in the footage. That's the ONLY appropriate way to score a fight. Bottom line.

For instance, CompuBox had Pacquiao outlanding Marquez in the third fight by a decent margin in both jabs, power punches, and total punches. Pacquiao's CompuBox connect percentage was even higher for power punches, yet most had Marquez winning the fight. I had him winning clearly in a competitive bout - something like 116-112 off the top of my head.

When you posted that, inevitably, some posters will give you a big e-thumbs up and use it as proof that the fight was barely competitive and that Mayweather pretty much dominated Cotto. Now what's really comical to me is those same people likely had Marquez winning against Pacquiao. So now what it becomes is a case of "use whatever argument suits the position you're currently arguing" - even if the very same concept you're using to support it goes completely against another one of your opinions. But hey, whatever works for them at the time, right?

Long story short...**** CompuBox. In every single ****ing fight.

Yup. Not saying Cotto won that fight. Just saying **** CompuBox  I hate it and I hate the fact that Lampley seems to be in love with it.

Seemed like a clear Mayweather win to me, as I scored it 117-111. Official scores seemed right on the money.
