After his impressive performance against Mayweather, how would you see him coping in a rematch against Pacquiao at 154lb? Would the outcome be any different? (Sorry if thread has already been done)

at 154 Cotto manages to push manny to a very close fight but i see Manny's aggression taking it to a 115-113 decision but lets face it even if Cotto did school Manny he aint gonna win on the scorecards, hed be getting Marquez Syndrome

At 154 with Pedro Diaz, Cotto wins if the judges are fair.

    Styles make fights!

    Floyd UD JMM
Manny struggled and won a close decision against JMM

Floyd wins a close decision against Cotto
Bayless had to save Cottos life against Pac

I suspect Diaz would come up with one hell of a gameplan.

I'd be interested to see what he would come up with for Cotto for any type of southpaw actually, If Ortiz gets through Berto I would like to see that fight.

    :rofl:lol::patsch

One fight was voted robbery of the year, nearly every credible reporter ringside had marquez winning, the best pac could do was a draw.

Every credible reporter ringside had it a clear victory for floyd.

To answer the thread it depends on the weight. But cotto trainer certainly proved he knows his stuff. I still would pick pac based on styles.

Pacquiao always beats Cotto, but Cotto may very well last the full 12 at 154.

That's why I added the "split decision" option :p

Diaz is impressive so far. I hope Cotto sticks with him.

154lb, as i say in the original post. Would the fight be more competitive than the first time?

If you thought that, watch the fight again.

    It wasn't close.

No, but it would sure be much harder for Pac at 154.
