To be honest, I just don't like this fight that much. . . Quintana is past his prime, Latimore is just mediocre like that...

The style matchup is also horrible. . . It would be a very boring fight. . .

Lara and Matiroysan are fighting in a "Final Eliminator", I can see Kirkland getting to Alvarez next though although this is the WBC, Land of the snakes, home of the thieves.

I cant see Quintana being a bigger draw at the moment than Kirkland, Kirkland despite his freakish power still has that weak chin and is being hyped immensely at the moment just waiting to be a sacrificial lamb.

Like I say, Vanes is #1, Kirkland is #2 but he is in the DL, the other option is Lara, he have to fight one of these guys the protection have to end, I ain't paying for a shitty PPV, we have the power to stop this kind of mismatches but I'm sure thousands from Mexico will buy it, it doesn't matter who he fights, actually the less danger that the opponent offer the better...
    PS. Lara is with GBP

My fistic colleagues, the only problem with Vanes, is that he's with Arum, and I don't see them ending their cold war anytime soon. . . But maybe Arum will make the fight because the only time he DOES NOT want to work wit hother promotors, is when he feels like he has to "carry the promotion", because he has the "name fighter". .

This time, he might be more than glad to let Golden Boy invest in the promotion, and carry it. . .

please do not make this fight. it makes no sense to be honest. if alvarez is calling out guys like pacquiao and mayweather, who he probably will not get, he should get in there with the next best thing, top 154 pounders, like kirkland, lara, molina or angulo. honestly, some of the matchups at 154 potentially provide some of the best fights in all of boxing.

well it gotta be cotto if there puttin it on PPV.
but then again they put morales vs maidana on PPV .
    B HOP vs dawson
and rios vs abril an JMM vs that no namer

so if it canelo fights likes of quintana on PPV the undercard has to be really legit

    :good

To be most realistic, we gotta think of GOlden Boy opponents. . ALthough GB is more open to working with other promotors. . .

Goossen has Paul Williams, and Williams called him out. . He's also a southpaw with a high work rate. . . LOVE that fight. . .

Also, I would LOVE Angulo, or Kirkland. . .

Lara would be a beast of a fight as well, but I honestly think they know better than to put him in there with Lara now. . .

Molina, not so much. . Too much of a holder.

Quintana scored a good win and then? Isn't he the same Carlos Quintana who was KTFO by PW in less than 3 minutes? Cotto thinks he still got it as most of us so let him fight for Canelo's title and it's always good to experience a Mexican-Prican fight either in the East Coast or in the West Coast.

Isn't Bundrage fighting Spinks next? I would not be surprise if it is Cotto. He has four months to get ready. One, to retain another belt and two, to show he is the top guy at 154 if of course PBF goes back down to 147. I would like to see Kirkland in there if it is not any of the others. Ortiz/Berto, come on. They are not machines. They need to rest and train properly. Not enough time unless there is a quick KO.

YES! I forgot all about K-9!!! BUNDRADGE! Soooo underrated. . . Such a BEAST on the inside. . .

But yes, he's got a rematch with Spinks coming up (God knows why, Spinks sucks). . . .

I'm thinking Cotto is a strong possibility too. . . There is a lot of hype around him from the mainstream fans (thinking that Cotto almost won the fight with FLoyd), and not to mention, this would be a fight between the biggest PR star, and the biggest Mexican star (or a close second to Chavez Jr.). Two months rest is good for Cotto, he really didn't suffer THAT much damage. . . Or almost two months rest. . Start training camp late June/Early July would give him the standard 8 weeks for technical preparation. . Doesn't need 12 weeks cause he's already in good shape from FLoyd camp.

GOOD THINKING, my man! Cotto/Alvarez sells 750K easily.

:good I agree with everything you said, and I forgot to include williams. that has WAR written all over it. I know that molina's a holder, but i'd like to see canelo blitz him and knock him out:yep

You saying that is the minimum? I mean, Cotto is a big seller and Canelo is picking up steam. I could care less what they make unless they are sending us checks, but it seems that the sellers are the ones making the good fights. Unless, you have a promoter who gets in the way like Arum. I think they both match in strength, power, speed, and jab. Just that Canelo is younger with more stamina. To be honest, someone is getting stopped.

Exactly. I would buy Canelo-Kirkland as long as there was a strong undercard. For example, the Pac-Bradley undercard looks really good but a Canelo-Kirkland card would have to be even better to be worthy of that date.

That could happen, but then again, it could turn into a stinker and Canelo getting frustrated. Let Williams fight Molina. I think that style of Molina will not work to well with Williams jab, height, and punch output.
